Manchester United announces the squad for their tour in the USA: Three new signings travel while Garnacho is left out, Onana and Lima join the team.

On Tuesday, Manchester United trained at Carrington before boarding a flight to Chicago, USA. New signing Mbemo participated in his first training session with the team, and fellow summer arrivals Cunha and Diego Leon were also included in the squad. Center-back Maguire did not travel with the team due to personal matters, but he revealed that he would join the squad the following day.

Maguire came on as a substitute in the warm-up match against Leeds United that ended in a 0-0 draw on Saturday, but he was substituted after just 35 minutes by Fredriksen. British media reported that this decision was made early based on the physical condition of the 31-year-old England defender.

Sources close to Maguire indicated that this is not a serious issue, and Manchester United expressed hope that he would join the team at the appropriate time.

Maguire later posted a message on social media saying, "Everything is fine now. I will travel tomorrow to meet up with the team. Thank you for your concern."

The two marquee signings made by the club this summer, Cunha and Mbemo, are both included in the traveling squad. Mbemo participated in his first full training session with Manchester United before the trip and received the traditional welcome from his teammates, who formed two lines to clap for the new player as he walked through. This is the team's way of welcoming newcomers or players returning from injury at Carrington. Head coach Amorim also enjoyed this treatment on his 40th birthday.

Despite announcing the birth of his daughter on Monday night, Cunha reported for duty and traveled as scheduled. Fans were initially concerned that the birth might cause him to miss the first warm-up match; however, Cunha boarded a flight to O'Hare International Airport, which arrived in Chicago on Tuesday night.

Diego Leon, the left-back from Paraguay and Manchester United's third signing of the summer, also traveled with the team. Additionally, some promising youth academy players, such as Tyler Fredriksen, Rhys Monro, Jack Fletcher, Segou Kone, Bendito Mantato, Chido Obi, and Ethan Williams, were also taken to the USA.

Injured goalkeeper Andre Onana and defender Lisandro Martinez will also participate in this overseas training camp. The 29-year-old Onana has been reported to possibly return to action, as he was seen joking with his Cameroonian compatriot Mbemo and forward Zirkzee on the flight. Meanwhile, Lima continues to deal with his anterior cruciate ligament injury and is not yet ready for training or matches.

As expected, Ruben Amorim left four of the "Fab Five" in the dressing room, excluding Rashford, who has flown to Barcelona on loan to the La Liga champions. Garnacho's exclusion from the squad indicates that the club remains determined to sell him, although some fans believe that the 21-year-old Argentine winger should be considered for retention.

Manchester United will be based at the Chicago Fire training facility throughout their tour in the USA, with their first warm-up match scheduled for this Sunday against West Ham United at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. They will then return to Chicago to face Bournemouth, with the final match taking place in Atlanta against Everton.
