Dodgers outfielder Conforto continues to struggle with his performance! Coach Roberts has named these two as potential replacements

Michael Conforto, the star outfielder for the MLB Los Angeles Dodgers, has recently hit a slump. Head coach Dave Roberts mentioned in a recent interview that "these two" could take over Conforto's left field position.

The team’s primary left fielder Conforto had a batting average below .200 from April through June. Although his form slightly improved in July, his batting average dropped again in August, managing only 6 hits in 48 at-bats for a .125 average. This has forced coach Roberts to consider whether there are better options to replace him.

"Offensive contribution from the left field position is what we value most moving forward. Whoever plays left field must deliver solid hitting," Roberts emphasized the importance of left field power in today’s interview. He also revealed that Kim Hoo-sung, currently rehabbing in Triple-A, can play second base and shortstop and has now started trying left field, making him a very promising option.

Another candidate for left field is Enrique Hernández, who is about to return to the team. Hernández was placed on the injured list due to left elbow inflammation but is now also participating in rehab games in Triple-A.
