Despite the Blue Jays facing elimination, former Yankees legend "A-Rod" Alex Rodriguez expressed confidence on a broadcast, insisting the Blue Jays “are not done yet,” and motivated the team by quoting lines from the movie Rocky IV.

In Game 2 of the series, Mariners outfielder Julio Rodríguez blasted a three-run homer in the first inning to set the tone, leading the team to a decisive 10-3 victory. At just 24 years old, Rodríguez continues to be a key offensive force in the playoffs, embodying the new generation of leadership for the team. However, Alex Rodriguez remains optimistic on the broadcast, encouraging the team by saying this squad, which had the best regular-season record in the American League, “is far from finished.”

He used a boxing movie analogy: “One of my favorite films is Rocky IV.
