Shohei Ohtani struck out three times in one game and then hit himself in the groin with a foul ball, joking about it.

However, in the top of the eighth with two outs and bases loaded, he was struck out on three pitches by left-hander Robert Gasser, finishing the game with 1 hit in 5 at-bats and 3 strikeouts.
