The 2025 MLB season Gold Glove Award nominees for both leagues have been announced.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) annual top defensive honor, the Gold Glove Award, nominees were officially revealed today (October 16), with the winners to be announced by ESPN on November 3. The Chicago Cubs lead the league with six players nominated; the Toronto Blue Jays follow closely with five nominees, including Ernie Clement, who is nominated for both third base and utility player awards, demonstrating exceptional defensive versatility.

The Gold Glove Award voting is conducted by a panel consisting of 30 managers and up to 6 coaches from each team, whose votes account for 75% of the total score, while the remaining 25% is based on the SABR Defensive Index statistics. Since 2022, the newly added Utility award is selected through a collaboration between Rawlings and SABR using an independent defensive model.
