After retiring from MLB, Kershaw may transition to a commentator role and is expected to join NBC's broadcasting team.

The post-retirement career plans of Clayton Kershaw, the legendary left-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, are beginning to take shape. According to the American outlet Front Office Sports, the 37-year-old ace is in advanced talks with NBC and is likely to serve as a commentator for MLB games in the upcoming season.

Kershaw spent his entire career with the Dodgers, accumulating a record of 223 wins and 96 losses, a 2.53 ERA, and 3,052 strikeouts. He won the Cy Young Award three times, was named the Most Valuable Player once, and claimed three World Series titles. His achievements have essentially secured him a future spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Notably, Kershaw confirmed earlier this year that he will represent the United States in the World Baseball Classic (WBC), marking both his debut on the national team and the final chapter of his professional career.

If he successfully signs with NBC, Kershaw will mainly participate in studio analysis for key games, with a particular focus on breaking down the Dodgers’ tactical system and game dynamics. This mound legend could bring a highly professional perspective to broadcasts if he transitions to the commentary booth.
