Shohei Ohtani revealed that he finds it difficult to be a physical education teacher and shared that his childhood dream was to become an "astronaut."

The human resources company Dip released a new commercial today featuring Shohei Ohtani, the Japanese two-way star of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The company's official YouTube channel also uploaded an interview between CEO Hideki Tomita and Ohtani, where Ohtani disclosed his childhood dream.

Ohtani said he has always admired astronauts (note: the Japanese term "宇宙飛行士" is commonly translated as "astronaut" in Chinese) because he longed to personally travel to space and witness its sights with his own eyes. "I've always wanted to see space with my own eyes; it's been a dream since I was a child."

When asked if he might consider becoming a physical education teacher, Ohtani hesitated slightly and smiled, saying he felt fortunate to have had many excellent teachers. "I am very grateful for that. But on the other hand, when I think about whether I could handle being a teacher, I feel that I probably couldn't, so I believe I'm not suited for teaching."
