Denmark have reached the final of the 2025 European Badminton Mixed Team Championships, just one step away from achieving their sixth consecutive title

As the defending champions, Denmark can be difficult to find opponents in Europe, and on the 15th local time, they defeated Germany in straight sets in the semifinals of the 2025 European Badminton Mixed Team Championships, only one step away from achieving six consecutive championships. Denmark qualified for the semi-finals with a three-match winning streak in the group stage, where they faced one-time champions Germany, who finished 2-1 in the group stage.

In the semi-finals on the 15th, Denmark relied on the first three women's singles, men's singles and women's doubles to successfully seal the victory, and the team advanced to the final for the 27th time in its history, after winning the championship 19 times before. Since the tournament was held in 1972, Denmark had the longest nine-game winning streak in history from 1996 to 2011, until a final defeat to Germany in 2013 ended the streak streak.

Denmark's first women's singles match of the day was played by world No. 36 Ryan Brown. Christophersen led the pack with a 21-11, 21-9 win over Germany's world number 110 Miranda, winning all three meetings between the two sides.

In the second men's singles match, Denmark did not field the world's highest-ranked Antonsen, but the world's No. 29 Genke, who defeated the world No. 84 Kiklitz 21-18, 21-11 to win the first meeting between the two sides and give Denmark a 2-0 lead.

With only one more point to win, the next women's doubles player for Denmark is McCann. Farulgat and Antonison sealed the win with a 21-11, 21-14 win over Michaelski and Volkmann.

Denmark have played four games in this tournament, three of which have not dropped a point (both group stage games against Spain and England won 5-0), and only dropped one point against hosts Azerbaijan in the final round of Group A on the 14th, winning 4-1.

After qualifying for the final, Denmark's next opponents will be last year's runners-up France or five-time champions England. France, which has been runners-up in the past two tournaments, defeated the Czech Republic 4-1 in the final round of Group B on the 14th, winning all three matches to win the first place and advance to the semifinals.

France still sent a strong team on the 14th, Toma Popov combined men's singles and men's doubles (partnering with his brother Christo Popov) to snatch two points for the team, mixed doubles Gicquill and Drew also managed to score, but women's singles Talanova lost points. England won points through mixed doubles, women's singles and men's doubles, and defeated Spain 3-2 in the final round of life and death, winning 2-1 to win the second place in the group.
