Jung Hoo Lee surged at the end of April with a four-hit game, bringing his batting average back above .300.

San Francisco Giants' Korean outfielder Jung Hoo Lee recorded four hits in a single game today, continuing his hot hitting streak. His batting average has climbed to .313, placing him among the top ten hitters in the National League.

Jung Hoo Lee's annual salary this season is $23.25 million, but he did not deliver performance matching that value early in the season. After hitting two singles against the Baltimore Orioles on April 11, his batting average struggled to reach .200, but it fell back below .200 the next day after going hitless in four at-bats.

Since late April, Jung Hoo Lee's hitting form has gradually warmed up. Including today's four hits in five at-bats against the Miami Marlins, he has accumulated nine hits over the last three games. After today's game, his batting average rose to .313, just squeezing into the tenth spot on the National League batting leaderboard.

When discussing his recent rebound, Jung Hoo Lee admitted in a post-game interview that he hasn't actually made many changes. He said, "The offseason, spring training, all that time is preparation for the regular season. Perhaps early in the season, my preparation and effort weren't showing up, but I feel now that those efforts are translating into actual performance. I certainly have to thank the hitting coach."
