Yankees nightmare! Bellinger pulls up lame while running, lands on injured list; three MVPs sidelined at once.

During the Yankees' road game against the Phillies on July 26, Cody Bellinger, the star outfielder, doubled in the top of the eighth. While sprinting to second, he felt a pull in his left hamstring. Despite his belief that it was not a major issue, the team placed him on the 10-day IL before the next day's game. This makes three MVP players on the Yankees currently sidelined.

The Yankees defeated the Phillies 3-1 on the 26th, but Bellinger felt a sudden "pull" in his left hamstring while running the bases after hitting an extra-base hit in the eighth. Tests confirmed a left hamstring strain, and he was officially placed on the 10-day injured list today. The Yankees quickly called up outfielder Spencer Jones from Triple-A to fill the roster spot.

Notably, the Yankees have already lost two MVPs this season. Aaron Judge is still waiting for his right rib fracture to heal, with no clear return date. Giancarlo Stanton, meanwhile, has suffered two right calf strains and is currently in a slow recovery phase for running the bases.
