Overcoming the disadvantage of the previous record between the two sides, world No. 6 Xie Dingfeng and Su Weiyi defeated Leung Wai Keng and Wang Chang at home 21-12, 21-14 in the men's doubles semifinals on the 12th, and won their third victory against the latter in the 11th time.

This is the fifth time Xie Su has participated in the Asian Championships, and has advanced to the final again after 2022.
