Yoo Seung-min, President of the Korea Sports Association, will attend the 45th Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) General Assembly for the first time since taking office as president. Chairman Yoo Seung-min will visit Kuwait City, Kuwait, where the OCA General Meeting is held, for 5 days and 4 nights from the 10th to the 14th.

Coventry, who was elected the new president at the 144th International Olympic Committee (IOC) General Assembly on March 20 this year, and Thomas Bach, the current president of the IOC, will also attend the OCA Congress. Coventry will lead the IOC for eight years, succeeding Bach, who stepped down on June 23.

Yoo Seung-min had a deep connection with OCA before he was elected president. In March 2019, he was elected as the OCA Athlete Relations Committee Chair and Executive Member for a four-year term. However, his previous position as vice chairman of the International Relations Committee resigned voluntarily after being elected president of the Korea Sports Association on January 14. Currently, he only retains the position of Coordinator of the 2026 Summer Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya.
