Westbrook revealed in his newsletter today that he will have surgery on two fractures he suffered during the season, and he is grateful for the support of his fans throughout the year and is eager to return to 100 per cent form. The Nuggets said Westbrook will be able to get back to full form this summer to prepare for the offseason.

The 36-year-old Westbrook has averaged 13.3 points, 6.1 assists and 4.9 rebounds in 27.9 minutes in 75 games this season, shooting 44.9 percent from the field. During his playoff journey this year, he went on the court with bandages on his hands. Westbrook also has a $3.47 million option on his current contract for 2025-26, so he has the option to stay or become a free agent.
