Wang Zhiyi and Chen Yufei will meet in the women's singles final of the 2025 Singapore Championships, and the national feather will win the championship again after a 10-year absence

China won the women's singles title at the Singapore Open Badminton Championships (Super 750) after a 10-year absence.

Chen Yufei

China secured three spots in the Women's Singles quarterfinals at the Singapore Super 750 2025 and sealed the title after second seed Wang Zhiyi defeated former Japanese world champion Akane Yamaguchi 21-12, 12-21, 21-17.

The other semi-final match was a repeat of this year's Asian Championships Women's Singles final, with former Olympic champion Chen Yufei beating third seed Han Yue 12-21, 21-15, 21-12 to qualify, making her 10-time international match to date.

Wang Zhiyi

The last time the Chinese women's singles tournament was won in Singapore was Sun Yu in 2015, and now Wang Zhiyi and Chen Yufei will compete to make a name in the nearly 100-year-old (96-year-old tournament history).
