Thailand's Dechapo made it all the way to the top of this year's Singapore Badminton Super 750 tournament after switching partners to win the tournament for the third time.
Changed partners to participate in the competition and won the championship again, Dechapo won the mixed doubles championship 3
De Chapo had previously won the Singapore Open with his former partner Saheeli in 2019 and 2022, but now he has changed to Subisara, a partner who participated in the Singapore Open this year and went all the way to the final again, and finally defeated Hong Kong's world No. 3 "double left-handed" Tang Chun Man and Xie Ying Xue in the final 21-16, 21-9 on the 1st, winning the second win in the fourth meeting between the two sides.
This is the first time Dechapo and Subisara have teamed up to compete at the Singapore Open, with DeChapo eventually winning the tournament for the third time, while Subisara is winning for the first time. In addition, this is the third title that current world No. 8 Dechapo and Subisara have won this year, following the Malaysia Super 1000 and Thailand Super 300.
With Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet failing to win the title, they also failed to make history as the first pair to win the mixed doubles title since the event was added in 1931 (which began in 1929).
