Yankees captain Aaron Judge continues to hold the top spot in the MLB hitters' rankings, closely followed by Shohei Ohtani.

As the second half of the season begins and the playoff push approaches, this week's hitters' power rankings have seen significant changes compared to the last edition.

While the top slugger's position remains secure, the rest of the rankings have been reshuffled due to the emergence of new faces and strong performances from returning players.

The hitters' power rankings are always based on an algorithm designed by the MLB official data team, which takes into account players' recent performances (with the highest weight), this season's statistics, and results from the past 365 days. The latest rankings are as follows (data as of July 24, Beijing time):

1. Aaron Judge, Yankees (Last week: 1)
Leading the league in multiple categories including batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS+. His slugging percentage remains above 0.700, making him a candidate to become the first player since Barry Bonds in 2001-04 to achieve a slugging percentage of ≥0.700 for two consecutive seasons, and the ninth player in history to reach this milestone three times.

2. Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers (4)
His five consecutive home runs helped him rise two spots. With 37 home runs and a slugging percentage of 0.620, he leads the National League, and his hitting power has not diminished since his return, as he aims for his fourth MVP award.

3. Cal Raleigh, Mariners (3)
Continuing his "Big Year," he won the Home Run Derby last week and hit his league-leading 39th home run on Tuesday. With 84 RBIs, he is tied for first in the American League, and his OPS of 0.989 is second only to Judge, with a 50-home run season within reach.

4. Kyle Schwarber, Phillies (9)
Soaring in the rankings: from ninth last week, previously unranked. After hitting three home runs in the All-Star Game to help the National League win, he added four more in six games, bringing his season total to 34 home runs.

5. Eugenio Suárez, Diamondbacks (Unranked)
Bursting into fifth place with a staggering five home runs in three games, he trails Ohtani by just one with 36 home runs. He hit 11 home runs in June and 10 in July, leading the league, with 86 RBIs topping the league charts.

6. José Ramírez, Guardians (Unranked)
Exploding with power in July: seven home runs in the last 15 games, just one short of his total from May and June combined. He has stolen bases nine times this month, totaling 30 for the season, aiming for back-to-back seasons of 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases.

7. Byron Buxton, Twins (7)
Having a career year with healthy appearances: his OPS of 0.922 ranks third in the American League, with 23 home runs and 17 stolen bases, aiming to surpass his career single-season records of 28 home runs and 29 stolen bases.

8. Ronald Acuña Jr., Braves (Unranked)
Since returning from ACL injury at the end of May, he has an OPS over 1.000, with 13 home runs in 178 plate appearances. He has hit four home runs in the last ten games, making a return to the rankings.

9. Will Smith, Dodgers (Unranked)
One of the surprises of the season: the only qualified hitter in the National League with a batting average over 0.300 (0.323), second only to Judge.

10. Juan Soto, Mets (2)
After the All-Star break, he has struggled with a batting average of just 0.100 over six games, including one extra-base hit, causing his ranking to drop eight spots. However, after a slow start to the season, he posted an OPS of 0.979 in the last 65 games of the first half.

Honorable Mentions: Randy Arozarena (Mariners), Michael Busch (Cubs), Kyle Stowers (Marlins), Corey Seager (Rangers), George Springer (Blue Jays), Nick Kurtz (Athletics), José Altuve (Astros), Willy Adames (Giants), Bobby Witt Jr. (Royals)
