The second person in the alliance! The Lakers' 23-year-old signed with the Curry brand: he has been a Warriors superstar fan since he was a child

On December 7, Beijing time, sources revealed to ESPN that Olivari, the Lakers' two-way guard, will sign a sneaker endorsement agreement with the Curry brand. Olivari's agent, Comer, has been in talks with Curry brand officials in recent weeks about a new deal.

Olivari came to the Lakers on a non-guaranteed training camp contract and ended up staying on a two-way contract. He has admired Curry since he was a child, got Curry's autograph as a child, and said that he wore Curry's No. 30 jersey when he went to bed.

He will become the second active NBA player in the league to sign with the Curry brand, the other being Sacramento Kings star Fox, whose Curry-branded signature shoe will make its debut today. Fox also traveled to China with Curry in the offseason.

So far this season, Olivari has averaged 23 points, 6 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Lakers' G League team. The 23-year-old guard has been outstanding in the Lakers' preseason games, including scoring 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting (5-of-9 three-pointers) against Curry's Warriors on Oct. 19. Curry also congratulated him, much to Olivari's excitement. In the post-game interview, Olivari told the story of himself and Curry, and he was moved to tears at one point.

"It's crazy, I've loved Curry since 6th grade. I don't even know what to say at this point. He's my idol and my favorite player. And then the first thing Curry told me was, 'I love your game, I'm a fan of yours.'" I'm certainly a big fan of him," Olivari said at the time, "and I've had his signed jersey before, he's signed it twice, and I used to sleep in that shirt a lot.
