Wilson also achieved the rare “MVP + Defensive Player of the Year” double honor for the second time, sharing the Defensive Player award with Lynx forward A'laana Smith. Toward the end of the regular season, she was in outstanding form—during the Aces’ 16-game winning streak, she averaged 26.1 points, 12 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game. This remarkable performance helped Wilson secure the MVP title by a wide margin in the voting.
Collier finished as the runner-up for MVP for the second consecutive year and earned her fourth All-WNBA Team selection. The 29-year-old remains a key force on both ends of the floor, averaging 22.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. Her three-point shooting percentage reached 40.3%, with a career-high 124 attempts.
Thomas continued to demonstrate elite playmaking and defensive disruption. A six-time All-Star, she has placed in the top five of MVP voting for the past five years, a level of consistency few players match. In her first season with the Mercury, she ranked second in the league with 9.2 assists per game, while also averaging 15.4 points and 8.8 rebounds. More broadly, her arrival met expectations—the Mercury improved their record from 19-21 to 27-17.
Paige, Li Yueru’s teammate and the first overall pick, played 36 games in the 2025 season, averaging 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, with a shooting percentage of 47.7% and a three-point rate of 33.1%. Paige is the only player this season to rank in the top 9 league-wide in scoring (5th), assists (9th), and steals (6th).
