Yang Hansen's participation is uncertain due to facial bruising! He tried to train while ill but was sent home for rest immediately upon arriving at the arena.

On December 11th Beijing time, the Trail Blazers released the latest injury update for their upcoming match with the Pelicans, marking Yang Hansen as doubtful because of facial bruises (about a 50% chance to appear).

The latest report confirms six Trail Blazers players will miss tomorrow’s game: Klingen (left leg contusion), Henderson (left hamstring tear), Jrue Holiday (right calf strain), Lillard (left Achilles injury), Sable (left thumb ligament tear), and Wesley (right foot fracture). Besides Hansen, Rowe is also listed as questionable due to illness.

Yesterday, Yang Hansen missed practice due to physical discomfort. Media personality “Wo Le Ge Hu Douer” (also a friend of Hansen) revealed, “After being hit in the head during the last game, Yang experienced dizziness and headaches. After examination yesterday, further observation is needed to confirm any issues.” Team reporter Yovic stated Hansen’s discomfort is unrelated to the previous collision and is simply due to illness.

Later, the Trail Blazers’ official reporter noted that nearly half the team is sick. Reporter Freeman shared in today’s coverage that Yang Hansen caught the flu and, although he tried to train while sick, he was immediately sent home to rest upon arrival at the facility. Clearly, Hansen wanted to push through, but the team prioritized his recovery.

As of now, Hansen’s status for tomorrow remains doubtful, making his playing time uncertain. Klingen is confirmed out, while Rowe and Hansen are questionable, leaving the Trail Blazers’ interior lineup in a tough spot.

Although Hansen has performed well in the Development League, he is still adjusting to the NBA. In his first 13 NBA regular-season games, he has averaged only 7.7 minutes per game, posting 2.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists, with an overall shooting percentage of just 30.0%; from beyond the arc, he’s made only 1 of 16 attempts, shooting 6.3%.
