
On December 12th Beijing time, the CBA season opener saw Guangsha play at home against Shanxi. In the potential match, Shanxi triumphed 27-24, claiming the first-ever win in this type of game.
During the first half, Qin Zilong nailed a long-distance shot, and Yu Miti executed a successful reverse layup, helping Shanxi take an early 5-0 advantage. Zhao Yanhao made a three-pointer, but Fan Fei’s layup tied the score at 5-5. Zhao Yanhao completed a three-point play; Qin Zilong responded with another long shot, leveling the score again at 9-9. After Yu Miti made a jump shot from the free-throw line, Shanxi finished the half leading 13-9.
In the second half, Zhou Kefan and Wang Xinrui hit three-pointers, allowing Guangsha to take a 15-13 lead. Qin Zilong’s three-pointer helped Shanxi regain the lead at 16-15; Wang Xinrui then caught fire from outside, hitting two consecutive threes, and Zhao Jiaren’s long shot extended Guangsha’s lead to 24-19. Han Peiyu and Yu Miti aggressively attacked the basket, closing the gap to 23-24 for Shanxi. Qin Zilong’s steal followed by a dunk secured Shanxi’s 27-24 victory.
