
On December 17th, Beijing time, in the NBA Development League, the Torn City Mixtape were defeated 100-129 by the Stockton Kings.
For the Mixtape, Pedulla scored 23 points, Cook added 22 points, and Yang Hansen contributed 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist; for the Kings, Carter had 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists, Plodden scored 26 points, Elmore added 18 points and 9 assists, Jeffries recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds, Dennis posted 11 points and 4 assists, and Caldwell finished with 8 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 steals.
In the first quarter, Carter hit a long-range shot, Plodden completed a three-point play, and Caldwell scored with a hook shot under the basket; Cook slammed a fast-break dunk, Yang Hansen made free throws to open his scoring account, and Dillon Jones scored inside to tie the game at 8-all. Elmore and Plodden both made three-pointers; Cook then drove to the basket repeatedly, putting the ball in, as the Kings led narrowly 16-14. Nielsen made a Euro step layup, Plodden hit a three-pointer, Jerlin Williams scored on a bank shot, and Jeffries nailed a three-pointer, helping the Kings close the quarter leading 29-22.
In the second quarter, the Kings maintained a lead most of the time on the court, holding a 48-41 advantage. Later, Yang Hansen returned to the game and, facing Plodden, made a strong spin move to score, followed by a powerful dunk under the basket, showing impressive performance. However, the Kings still played better overall and led 66-51 at halftime. In the first half, Yang Hansen played 14 minutes, shooting 3 of 6, scoring 8 points and grabbing 2 rebounds.
In the third quarter, Elmore scored on a jump shot, Jeffries finished a coast-to-coast play, and Carter added a dunk, helping the Kings extend their lead to 76-57. Yang Hansen scored with a hook shot under the basket, but the Mixtape remained behind 59-76; later, after being fouled, Yang Hansen successfully made free throws. Carter hit a three-pointer from the top of the arc, Plodden continued to dominate inside, Carter scored an easy layup, Dennis nailed a corner three, and Nielsen and Maskari scored consecutive baskets, ending the quarter with the Kings leading 101-72.
In the final quarter, Nielsen and Maskari both made long-range shots, helping the Kings further increase their lead. Yang Hansen scored a hook shot under the basket but still couldn’t help the Mixtape reduce the gap. The Kings maintained their strong advantage throughout the rest of the game and secured the victory as expected.
