It is reported that Zeng Fanbo reached a three-year B-level contract renewal with Beijing, having previously declined an offer from the Illawarra Hawks in the Australian NBL league.Previously, Zeng Fanbo had signed an A1-level rookie contract with Beijing, and according to the rules, the original club holds exclusive signing rights for the player’s B-level contract.

Zhao Rui, Chen Yingjun, Zeng Fanbo, and Zhou Qi form arguably the strongest domestic "Big Four." Beijing currently leads the league with a 3-0 record this season and is the top contender for the championship.

However, considering Zeng Fanbo’s long absence from competition—he has only played three games in nearly seven months (NBA China preseason with the Nets plus two World Cup qualifiers)—he will need time to regain his form.
