On January 6th Beijing time, the NBA officially revealed the Players of the Week for Week 11, naming Trail Blazers forward Avdija and 76ers guard Maxey as the recipients. This marks Avdija’s first career Player of the Week award. For Maxey, it is his fourth career selection and second this season.

Western Conference Player of the Week: Avdija
Last week, Avdija guided the Trail Blazers to a 3-1 record, averaging 26.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. He is also the first Trail Blazers player to earn this honor since Lillard on February 7, 2023.

Against the Mavericks, Avdija posted 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists; versus the Thunder, he recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists; against the Pelicans, he contributed 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 11 assists; and in the Spurs game, he achieved a triple-double with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

So far this season, the Trail Blazers hold a 16-20 record, ranking 9th in the Western Conference. Avdija averages 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.
Eastern Conference Player of the Week: Maxey
Last week, Maxey led the 76ers to a three-game winning streak, averaging 34.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game, with an impressive shooting percentage of 61.2%.

In the game against the Grizzlies, Maxey scored 34 points with 4 rebounds and 12 assists; versus the Mavericks, he tallied 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists; and against the Knicks, he put up 36 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.

This season, the 76ers have a 19-14 record, sitting 5th in the Eastern Conference. Maxey averages 31.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.
