On January 22nd Beijing time, James reshared a friend's post on IG. The friend posted footage of James dunking in the game versus the Nuggets, writing: "This old man is 200 years old but can still jump off both feet and explode with such incredible strength. Unreal!" James accompanied the repost with six laughing-crying emojis.

Previously, James was not selected as a starter for the All-Star game, ending his streak of 21 consecutive years as an All-Star starter. However, he still has a chance to participate as an All-Star reserve. If so, he might deliver some electrifying dunks that excite the crowd at the All-Star event.

James himself addressed this topic after the game against the Nuggets.

When asked about his reaction to missing the All-Star starting lineup for the first time in 22 years, James said, "None, no reaction at all."

Regarding the possibility of being selected as an All-Star reserve, James said, "I’m always grateful. Of course, I would appreciate it. If I get selected, I will attend. If not, I know how to make the most of that time and I know what I’ll be doing, so either way, I’m fine with it."

When asked if Nuggets guard Murray deserves his first career All-Star selection this season, James said, "I don’t know. Today we prepared a scouting report on him, and I saw his recent averages — he’s playing very well, shooting accurately, scoring at a high level. They held their position during Jokic’s absence, winning some key games. I think he’s definitely an All-Star player. It depends on his health and other factors, but whenever he’s on the court, he’s an All-Star caliber point guard and a top-level player. Of course, the coaches decide the All-Star picks, but in my opinion, he’s an All-Star and has been playing great basketball."
