NBA win rate rankings over the last 20 games: Clippers lead, Warriors and Trail Blazers tied for 3rd, Thunder 8th, Rockets 12th

On January 26th Beijing time, a US media source reported the NBA win percentage rankings for the last 20 games. The Clippers, steadily advancing, lead the league with a 75% win rate during this period. Having struggled early in the season, the Clippers’ 15-5 record over the past 20 games has surprised numerous observers.

The Eastern Conference top team, the Pistons, continue to perform steadily, achieving 14 wins and 6 losses in their last 20 games, holding the second-best win rate of 70% in the league during this timeframe. In third place, five teams share the spot: the Celtics, Bulls, Warriors, Suns, and Trail Blazers, each with a 13-7 record. These teams are somewhat surprising—despite losing Tatum, the Celtics remain deep; the Bulls have emerged as a dark horse; and both the Suns and Trail Blazers were initially underestimated.

Some teams that started the season strong have seen their win rates decline. For example, the Thunder and Spurs both hold a 12-8 record over the last 20 games. The Thunder, once considered potential challengers to the Warriors’ 73-win record, had already lost 10 of their first 47 games, eliminating any chance to break that record. The Spurs’ win rate has also dipped slightly. Sharing the same 12-8 record are the Cavaliers and Raptors, making these four teams tied for 8th place over this period.

Tied for 12th place are the Nuggets and Rockets, both with an 11-9 record. Despite widespread injuries—including to Nikola Jokić—the Nuggets have maintained a win rate above 50%, which is quite impressive. The Rockets’ performance, however, has been somewhat disappointing and has fallen short of preseason expectations.

Tied for 14th place are the Hornets, Lakers, Heat, Timberwolves, and 76ers, all with 10 wins and 10 losses; tied for 19th are the Mavericks, Knicks, and Magic, each 9-11; tied for 22nd are the Grizzlies and Bucks at 8-12; the Hawks rank 24th with 7-13; and tied for 25th are the Pelicans, Kings, and Wizards, all 6-14. The worst records belong to the Pacers and Jazz, both at 5-15.
