On January 30th Beijing time, according to renowned reporter Shams, sources revealed that Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon will undergo a re-evaluation of his injury in four to six weeks due to a right hamstring strain. This injury is a recurrence of an old issue from late November last year. This means he will be out for at least 4-6 weeks, dealing another heavy blow to the Nuggets, who are still without Jokic due to injury.

Gordon got injured during the Nuggets’ narrow 102-100 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks and left the game early. “I feel bad for him,” Adelman said. “He remains optimistic and thinks this time it won’t be as serious as before. But the exact situation won’t be clear until the test results come back.” Unfortunately, the prognosis now looks bleak, which is a significant setback for both him and the Nuggets.
“Some players are just destined to battle injuries over the long term.” When asked if the Nuggets might adjust their strategy regarding Gordon’s usage on back-to-back games, Adelman declined to comment further, citing that he is not a medical professional.
Earlier this season, Gordon missed 19 consecutive games due to a similar hamstring injury. In the 23 games he has played this season, the Nuggets star is averaging 17.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. The Nuggets currently hold a 31-16 record, ranking third in the Western Conference.
