The Timberwolves saw Edwards put up 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists; McDaniels with 21 points, 4 assists, and 2 blocks; Reed scored 18 points and collected 7 rebounds; Gobert posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Meanwhile, the Thunder’s Alexander tallied 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists; Holmgren contributed 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks; Hartstein added 11 points and 5 rebounds.

In the first quarter, Edwards hit two consecutive three-pointers, and McDaniels followed with back-to-back long-range shots, helping the Timberwolves take an early 15-6 lead. Dort and Isaiah Joe made threes to cut the gap to just one point. Edwards, Reed, and Hyland then drained threes in succession, allowing the Timberwolves to close the quarter ahead 34-20.

In the final quarter, both Randle and Reed hit three-pointers from beyond the arc, and Reed easily converted a put-back, helping the Timberwolves maintain a 20-point lead at 105-85. The Timberwolves held their advantage throughout the remainder of the game and secured the win as expected.
