At 19:30 Beijing time on March 8, the 2025/2026 CBA All-Star Game was held at the Xishi Basketball Center in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. Following four quarters of play, the Southern All-Star Team triumphed over the Northern All-Star Team with a score of 161-147. The aggregate score of the two teams matched the total score record from the 2016 All-Star Game (308 points). Xu Jie, scoring 35 points, earned the All-Star MVP award.

In the first quarter, Xu Jie drove to the basket for a layup to score the first two points. Zeng Fanbo answered with a three-pointer to take the lead. The two teams exchanged baskets, with the score seesawing. Hu Jinqiu, who performed excellently in the World Cup qualifiers, continued his good form, hitting two driving layups. He Xining added a three-pointer. Zhang Zhenlin executed an alley-oop dunk and later performed a windmill-style dunk. The Northern Team's foreign player Diallo also completed a two-handed dunk. In the third quarter, Xu Jie, Pang Zhenglin, and He Xining hit three consecutive three-pointers, allowing the Southern All-Star Team to widen the gap. The Northern All-Star Team mounted a scoring surge to trail by only three points at 137-140. Hu Mingxuan and Xu Jie hit consecutive three-pointers, and the Southern All-Star Team unleashed a 11-3 run to widen the gap again. Ultimately, the Southern All-Star Team defeated the Northern All-Star Team 161-147.
