Odom reveals dreaming of Kobe again! Recalling the Black Mamba: He firmly believed he was better than Jordan back then.

On March 14 Beijing time, former NBA player Odom revealed on a podcast that he recently dreamed again of his deceased former teammate Kobe.

"He turned back and said to me: 'You know, the afterlife isn't what people imagine.' Then I woke up. I kept thinking, what did he want to tell me? Maybe he misses everyone, maybe he's still moving forward in another world. I don't fully understand the meaning, but I interpret it as: live your life well right now."

Odom also revealed on the show: Kobe firmly believed he was stronger than Jordan back then. "He kept saying: 'I'm better than Mike, I'm better than Mike.' I thought: 'You're crazy,' but that competitiveness was ingrained in him."

It's worth noting that in 2022, four years ago, Odom mentioned dreaming of Kobe. At that time, Odom told sports commentator Sharpe on a program that the NBA legend's spirit appeared in his dreams at least four times.

"He also comes into my dreams. During those 26 days I was on the 'Big Brother' show, he appeared four times in my dreams," Odom said then.

"The last dream was especially vivid. He said something to me I'll never forget. We were competing in shooting, Kobe was incredibly good at shooting, he could jump and release with either foot. We walked to the right 45-degree spot on the three-point line, he turned back and said to me: 'You know, the afterlife isn't what people imagine.'"

"I didn't know how to interpret that at the time. Was he missing his family? Or was his mission not yet complete? Or was he reminding me to live fully now, without regrets, because you never know what the future holds? I've kept that sentence in my heart."

Kobe passed away at just 41 years old. In January 2020, he and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a helicopter accident. Odom has a tattoo commemorating Kobe on his neck and often wears a pendant engraved with photos of Kobe and Gianna.
