Guangdong team officially announced:Cui Yongxi will make his comeback debut on the 15th of this month.
During the offseason last summer, Cui Yongxi was traded from Guangzhou team to Guangdong team and signed a four-year B-class contract with his new club.

Notably, Cui Yongxi's debut happens to be against Guangdong team's old rival & four-time champion Liaoning men's basketball team.
So far this season, Guangdong team has achieved 18 wins and 7 losses, ranking third in the league, while Liaoning team stands ninth with 13 wins and 12 losses.

Cui Yongxi suffered a complete tear of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in December 2024, with a recovery period lasting over a year until now. Last season, as a two-way contract player for the Nets, he played in five regular-season games averaging 2 minutes per game with 0.6 points and 0.4 rebounds, and participated in six G-League games averaging 14 minutes per game contributing 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1 assist.

In his past two years in the CBA, Cui Yongxi played for Guangzhou team. In his rookie season, he averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2 steals per game in the regular season, with shooting percentages of 45.3%, 37.1%, and 89.9%; in his sophomore regular season, he averaged 15.7 points, 6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 45.5%, 36.4%, and 78.6%.
