On May 30, Beijing time, Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals is set for May 31. The injury reports for both teams are now available. On the Thunder side, Ajay Mitchell (right soleus strain), Soba (right ACL tear surgery), and Jalen Williams (left hamstring strain) are all ruled out. The Spurs, however, have a clean bill of health and will face the decisive battle. The winner advances to the Finals to compete against the Knicks for the championship, while the loser's season ends, missing out on the title opportunity.

The injury report for Game 7 differs from those before Games 5 and 6. Previously, Mitchell was ruled out a day in advance, while Williams was listed as questionable. Before Game 5, Williams was downgraded to out, but before Game 6, he was upgraded to available and played 10 minutes off the bench, going 0-for-1 from the field and 1-for-2 from the free-throw line, finishing with 1 point, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, and a minus-18 plus-minus. This time, Williams was ruled out a full day ahead of the game.

Earlier, renowned reporter Shams stated that both Williams and Mitchell are being evaluated day-to-day. Williams has suffered two hamstring strains within a month. Although he played in Game 6, he was clearly not fully recovered. As for Mitchell, he had been dealing with tightness in his right calf throughout the playoffs, which was ultimately diagnosed as a right calf strain.
This Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals will be the fifth Game 7 of this year's playoffs. In addition to these five Game 7s, there have also been four sweeps in the postseason, marking the first time in history that such an extreme polarization has occurred in the playoffs.
Besides the Western Conference Finals, the first round saw Pistons 4-3 Magic, 76ers 4-3 Celtics, Cavaliers 4-3 Raptors, and the second round featured Cavaliers 4-3 Pistons — all going to Game 7. The four sweeps were: Thunder 4-0 over Suns, Thunder 4-0 over Lakers, Knicks 4-0 over 76ers, and Knicks 4-0 over Cavaliers.

ESPN released its win probability predictions for Game 7 before the game: Spurs 39.8%, Thunder 60.2%. Clearly, the Thunder, playing at home, are still favored to advance to the Finals. Who do you think will make it to the Finals? Feel free to leave your comments.
