35 million! Reeves' new contract salary! The Cavaliers are pushing hard to bring in LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

LeBron James fans now have to not only follow his moves but also keep an eye on the roster improvements of the Lakers, Cavaliers, and other teams. After all, his next team will most likely be one of these two, and how competitive they will be next season is what we’re focusing on.

Bleacher Report reporter Eric Pincus said today that Reeves remains the best two-way guard on the free agent market this summer. The Lakers can offer him a contract with an annual salary of up to $41.3 million, totaling a maximum of $239.3 million. The maximum offer from other teams would be four years and $177.4 million. Regardless, Reeves is expected to be richly compensated, with a starting salary possibly reaching $35 million.

NBA reporter Jake Fischer said that multiple teams are expected to call the Mavericks this summer in an attempt to pry away Kyrie Irving, including the Lakers.

According to reports, if LeBron leaves the Lakers, the Lakers would consider reuniting Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving. After all, in their first season together, they led the Mavericks to the NBA Finals, forming one of the most dangerous offensive backcourts in the league.

We probably won't see a LeBron-Kyrie reunion, but what about a LeBron-AD reunion? NBA reporter Sean Deveney reported today that Anthony Davis hasn't played a single game for the Wizards, but he has already been sending clear signals hinting at his desire to leave Washington. "He hasn't played a game for the Wizards yet, and over the past two seasons he's only played a total of 71 games. But he's already expressed his intention to leave. However, he will likely have to wait, as the Wizards want him to play first, regain some trade value, and then trade him."

Let's talk about a possible future destination for LeBron James — the Cavaliers.

NBA reporter Jake Fischer said that Harden is expected to decline his $42.31 million player option for next season and then sign a two-year, $60 million contract extension with the Cavaliers.

Are the Cavaliers sure they want to keep Harden? A regular-season god, but in recent years he has consistently failed to prove himself in the playoffs.

2018: Lost to the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals

2019: Lost to the Warriors again. 2020: Swept by LeBron's team in gentleman's sweep. 2021: Had a 3-2 lead, but eventually lost to the Bucks. 2022: Against the Heat, scored only 11 points in Game 6. 2023: Against the Celtics, scored only 9 points in Game 7. 2024: Against the Mavericks, went 5-for-16 in Game 6. 2025: Against the Nuggets, scored only 7 points in Game 7. 2026: Swept by the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Mitchell is still backing Harden, saying that Jordan and LeBron also had playoff struggles: "Yes, he has experienced some tough moments, right? I believe we all have. LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all time, but we rarely mention his struggles in the 2011 Finals against the Mavericks, and we rarely talk about how it took Jordan eight years to reach the Finals. We only talk about their victories."

Mitchell is wrong about that. LeBron's 8-point game in 2011 has been talked about by countless haters for over a decade. Meanwhile, some other stars, who are mostly mediocre, get praised for years just because of one standout game. They are really double standards when it comes to LeBron.

There have been rumors recently that LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo might both join the Cavaliers.

Cavaliers beat reporter Chris Fedor said: "If the Cavaliers are looking for wing players, wanting taller, more athletic, and tougher forwards, then Giannis and LeBron fit perfectly. But from an offensive standpoint, they would need to redesign some plays to balance the skills of these two with Mitchell and Harden."

"Given the outcome of this season and everything that has happened, if LeBron is interested in returning here, the Cavaliers currently have no reason to turn him down. At the same time, the hometown appeal of Cleveland, ending his career where it began — the convergence of these factors means that, as the hometown team, they should seize this opportunity. Of course, all of the above is predicated on LeBron being willing to leave the Lakers.

If such a combination really happens, the picture is too beautiful to behold!
