On June 14, Beijing time, Lakers star James posted on social media, showing himself alongside ex-teammate Love in Dubrovnik, Croatia. According to reports, James visited this historic city to cheer for his team competing in the E1 electric motorboat series.

He also made his iconic self-crowning move in the clip. This competition has drawn participation from numerous sports, business, and tech figures in recent years. According to the Dubrovnik Times, the greatest basketball player of all time, James, is a co-owner of the Eurail team. He joined the project in 2023, as the E1 series was gaining recognition as the world’s first electric motorboat world championship.

Representing James’s Eurail team are Rusty Wyatt and Katie Munnings. The E1 series combines sports competition, cutting-edge technology, and green sustainability. Dubrovnik, with its stunning urban scenery, is one of the most attractive venues on the race calendar. The race course is set in front of the historic city center and Lokrum Island, adding high visual impact and promotional value to the event.

James has yet to decide his next season’s destination. Previously, his agent Rich Paul reported that 10 to 12 teams are interested in signing James, but so far, Paul and James have not discussed the matter. James mentioned on his personal podcast that he is in no rush to decide, possibly waiting until July or August to make a choice.
Approaching 42 years old, James played 60 regular-season games this season, averaging 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. In the playoffs, he appeared in 10 games, averaging 23.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. The Lakers eliminated the Rockets 4-2 in the first round but were swept 0-4 by the Thunder in the second round.
