On July 28, Beijing time, the Lakers' 2K26 ratings were disclosed, with Doncic and James both scoring 96, tying for the highest on the team. In addition to them, three other Lakers players have ratings over 80: Reeves at 87, Ayton at 83, and Hachimura at 81.

The 2K26 ratings for other key Lakers players are as follows: Smart at 79, Hayes at 78, Vanderbilt at 77, Vincent at 77, Knockett at 77, Laravia at 76, Kleber at 72, Koloko at 72, and Bronny at 68.
