The official had been warming up the hype, and now the special effects are officially unveiled, showcasing Nuwa’s Myriad Spirits Awakening and Hou Yi’s Divine Tree Reaching Heaven. In this episode, Xiao will walk you through them!

Nuwa’s Myriad Spirits Awakening

As for the skin’s appearance, the previous CG animation has already shown most of it, so I won’t repeat that here and will jump straight into the special effects.

This time, Nuwa’s skin effects mainly revolve around Sanxingdui relic elements such as the eye-shaped artifact, golden bird ornament, bronze bird ornament, human-headed bird statue, and bronze bird-foot statue. Basic attacks feature totems designed from the chest patterns of the human-headed bird statue; the passive changes as Nuwa levels up, with an eye-shaped bracelet appearing on her hand at level 6 and a metallic eye-shaped magic seal forming behind her. At level 12, the metal seal extends with a jade outline, and at level 15, it glows brilliantly. The first skill causes eye-shaped seeds to sprout where they land, creating a cross-shaped bird pattern magic array, and the human-headed bird apparition emerges. The second skill summons a divine bird magic array, with branches of the sacred tree winding around the four corners; when the small arrays combine into a large one, the golden bird magic seal appears. The third skill transforms the target location into a human-headed bird apparition descending from the sky. The ultimate unleashes the divine bird charging out, with jade discs appearing wherever it passes.

Regarding how to obtain it, this skin is of epic quality. Players can select it from the 2nd to 9th anniversary limited return skin choice pack by collecting 300 Day Yuan coins, with the exchange opening tomorrow. Overall, the skin’s effects are quite good, though its color scheme somewhat overlaps with "Mending the Sky," which is a legendary skin. Therefore, many players call this one a “mini Mending the Sky.” Considering it’s free to obtain, it’s a pretty good skin.

Hou Yi’s Divine Tree Reaching Heaven

Let’s directly look at the effects. Hou Yi’s skin effects also revolve around Sanxingdui’s bronze elements, with the main creative focus on the bronze divine tree, as the name suggests. Basic attacks turn Hou Yi’s arrows into divine tree branches with stylized bronze trails; the passive extends his weapon with divine tree branches that emit faint multicolored light; the first skill showers golden streams, then activates a bronze magic array on the ground, with the bronze mask behind turning golden and arrows transforming into golden divine birds; the second skill summons a bronze magic array on the ground, and the divine tree breaks through the earth; the ultimate changes Hou Yi’s divine bow into three bronze bow crossbow forms, releasing a bronze divine dragon that flies forward, and when hitting targets, both the divine dragon and altar appear.

Regarding acquisition, this legendary skin can be obtained not only through the well-known 990 limited-time voucher exchange pack but also via a new 178 skin fragment limited-time exchange. Players can freely choose between these two methods, which is highly praised. As for the skin itself, Xiao thinks its effects are excellent, containing all the essential elements.
