Hello everyone, I am Game Brother Xiao.
A while ago, Xiao introduced the exchange method for Hou Yi’s new skin “Divine Tree Ascension,” recommending most players choose the limited-time coupon method. This resonated with many players who felt skin fragments are indeed running low now. If King of Glory keeps the current pace and continues placing some new skins in the fragment shop, many upcoming skins might become hard to redeem. Therefore, accumulating skin fragments has become an urgent need. In this episode, Xiao will introduce some common and effective ways to gather skin fragments.
Before we start, it’s important to note that King of Glory has now suspended the circulation of skin fragments among players. This means sending skin fragments to others is no longer allowed. Both the team red envelope and lobby red envelope have removed the skin fragment option, and the restoration time is unknown. So please be cautious of scams in this regard and do not fall for them.
Usually, players first consider events in the official server, but besides those, playing on the test server also offers some rewards. Players can earn test coins by ranking up or logging in at specific times, then use 80 test coins to exchange for a fragment lucky bag in the official server, allowing them to select 2 skin fragments. The amount obtained is quite considerable, with a maximum of one exchange per day, meaning up to 14 skin fragments per week. To accumulate 88 fragments, it takes about six weeks, roughly one and a half months. This matches the recent frequency of limited-time skin fragment shop updates in King of Glory, making it well worth the effort.
Skin fragments are currently quite common in the official server, with many free acquisition methods: Elite Battle Pass upgrade reward packs usually include skin fragments and other common game items, with each pack containing one fragment, so completing Battle Pass tasks and leveling up is necessary; the Friendship Rekindle system rewards players with friendship points by teaming up with returning accounts, which can be exchanged for one skin fragment weekly—players can join five-player squads in the game lobby, usually marked with a return tag; Battle Pass coins can be used to exchange for skin fragments, typically 100 coins for 10 fragments per season, and these coins are earned by leveling up the Battle Pass; team rewards from completing team matches grant team badges, allowing a maximum exchange of 100 skin fragments per season, though this is quite challenging; the National E-sports Shop allows exchanges for skin fragment packs containing 5 fragments after reaching level 3, so keep an eye on its opening times.
First, there are cumulative recharge rewards and daily recharge bonuses. Besides coupons, recharging grants some rewards including selectable gift boxes that allow choosing skin fragments. Players who already plan to recharge should pay special attention to this event.
Second, there are limited-time events, especially those involving accumulating certain items to exchange for rewards. Besides grand prize skins, the official often includes some skin fragments as exchange options. For example, in the current limited-time coupon event, if no skins in the shop appeal to you, you can use coupons to exchange for skin fragments. This seems to have no quantity limit, meaning players can exchange up to 300 skin fragments. However, it’s recommended to prioritize skins first, and if leftover coupons aren’t enough to redeem skins but you don’t want to top up the difference, consider exchanging for skin fragments.
Then, King of Glory also occasionally gifts skin fragments. For instance, not long ago, 30 skin fragments were given as rewards for completing login and match tasks. However, such events are rare and unpredictable, so players need to stay alert.
Finally, there are some recharge-based channels in the game, such as prize pools in the points lottery that include skin fragments, some skin draw packages also contain fragments, and certain wish events randomly offer skin fragments. For example, in the “Kai Wushuang” skin wish event, Xiao managed to get 8 skin fragments with the first 10-coupon draw, which was quite good.
That basically covers the main channels currently available for exchanging skin fragments in King of Glory. If you need to accumulate, you can refer to these methods.
That’s all for now. If you found this helpful, please give a like to support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I’ll read them all~
