Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi.
I believe everyone has started the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. In past years, there were plenty of events for King of Glory during this holiday, but this time it's quite calm, probably because the new season is about to arrive. Originally, the announcement only mentioned hero adjustments and bug fixes for the Super Frenzy mode, but the game actually launched a skin free trial event, which many players might not know about yet.

For heroes, as usual, all heroes are free to use, including rare ones like Ao Yin and Wu Zetian. As a side note, Wu Zetian in Super Frenzy mode is pretty strong, so if you're interested, you can take advantage of this free trial to try her out.

For skins, several selected skins are free to try. According to the official promotional image, there are 10 skins in total, including Cai Wenji's "Flowers in Bloom," Da Mo's "Golden Leo," Da Qiao's "Time Travel," Gongsun Li's "Memory Core," Fei's "Buried Gold," Han Xin's "Pride in Snow," Xiao Qiao's "Shanhai·Linlang Sheng," Ya Lian's "White Wolf in Snow," Yu Ji's "Cloudy Feather," and Zhuge Liang's "Crane Feather Star." They are evenly distributed—two skins for each of the five roles.
Since the free trial is only for four days, many players want to use this holiday to rank up before the new season. So, based on the free trial skin lineup, I'll recommend some heroes for climbing the ranks.
Top pick: Cai Wenji. Without a doubt, Cai Wenji has the best win rate among these heroes, and her pick rate is also good. This means the hero has a high floor and can be used in almost any lineup without major issues. Although the game has introduced many healing-type heroes, Cai Wenji's position remains solid, mainly because her healing is straightforward and powerful, providing ample sustain. In snowballing games, having Cai Wenji means you rarely need to recall to replenish HP. Plus, with the addition of "Converging Troops" this season, her healing output has been boosted even further. As for the "Flowers in Bloom" skin, although it sparked some controversy when first released, it has gained recognition over time and is worth trying.

Second pick: Yu Ji. Yu Ji's win rate is slightly lower than Cai Wenji's but still decent, hovering above 50%. Among marksmen, Yu Ji has a relatively good position mainly due to her second skill's physical immunity, which discourages many junglers from ganking her. Forcing a tower dive could backfire, giving her more room to farm and better survivability in the early game. Moreover, her first skill deals considerable damage early on, rivaling few others, making it easy to snatch resources like the Red Falcon, Red Armor, or Fierce Zhi when timed right—boosting her farm while suppressing the opponent's. As for the "Cloudy Feather" skin, it's a classic that beautifully incorporates peacock elements, with crisp attack animations—definitely worth a try.

As for the other heroes, they are less recommended. However, if you just want to experience the skins, Da Qiao's "Time Travel," Fei's "Buried Gold," Han Xin's "Pride in Snow," Xiao Qiao's "Shanhai·Linlang Sheng," Ya Lian's "White Wolf in Snow," and Zhuge Liang's "Crane Feather Star" are all limited skins worth checking out.
That's all for today. If you found this helpful, feel free to give a like and follow. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I'll read them all!
