Previously, King of Glory announced a free skin collaborating with King of Glory Chess, and today it's finally revealed because King of Glory Chess announced its release date. As for this skin, it's Gongsun Li's "Shards of Light Butler." The name sounds familiar, right? Actually, it belongs to the same series as Mozi's "Shards of Light Butler" from Honor of Kings World, also featuring the "Starry Butler" style with "Shards of Light Crystal." The overall design is a European noble gown paired with dreamy starry sky elements, making it very attractive. You can get it for free by participating in the in-game event "Play King of Glory Chess to Get Skin." So, how good is this skin?

Gongsun Li's "Shards of Light Butler"

This time, the design of Gongsun Li's new skin follows the "Starry Butler" style, with deep blue and sapphire blue as the main colors, complemented by ice crystal blue gradient light effects, and gold metal trim to enhance the quality. White and light purple accents are added in parts, making it look both elegant and dreamy, exactly what a skin of this theme should be.

As for the hairstyle, it's a light purple shoulder-length bob, topped with a rabbit-ear hat device, with star-shaped hair ornaments on both sides, preserving Gongsun Li's usual agile charm while adding a touch of nobility. The costume is an improved version of the European butler suit, with a fitted tailcoat featuring crystal-cut designs on the shoulders, paired with shorts and asymmetrical boots. The skirt extends into a translucent crystal cape. For the weapon, the iconic paper umbrella has been upgraded into a giant star-ring crystal umbrella, with the canopy made of blue energy crystals forming a starry magic circle. It has multiple ring structures with gem cuts, a golden star emblem in the center, and the handle incorporates elements of a noble scepter.

Regarding special effects, although this skin is only of "Brave" quality, the effects are actually not bad. It's not just a simple recolor; it incorporates many details and elements. Overall, it feels comparable to Zhang Fei's Brave skin "Street Guardian," and is not inferior to classic Epic skins like "Infinite Star Appreciator." It looks more like an upgraded version of "Flower Dance," which is quite impressive.

How to Obtain

The officials have announced that this skin is of "Brave" quality, tagged as "King of Glory Chess." You can get it for free for a limited time by participating in the in-game event "Play King of Glory Chess to Get New Skin." The event starts on September 9th and lasts until the end of the month, giving plenty of time. Based on the previous event for Mozi's "Shards of Light Butler," it's likely that you'll need to complete specific tasks in King of Glory Chess to obtain it. Don't forget to join in.

Of course, like Mozi's "Shards of Light Butler," this skin will also be available for direct purchase and in the Skin Fragment Shop later. So if you don't want to play or missed the event, don't worry. Starting October 1st, this skin will be available in the Fragment Shop for 48 skin fragments, or you can buy it directly for 488 vouchers in the shop.

To be honest, Gongsun Li has always been popular, and she already has quite a few skins. With this new skin, she now has ten skins in total.
