King's Farm Test Server Preview: A Separate Battle Pass Coming? 840x Is Now in the Past

Like and follow, so you never miss out!

Hello everyone, I'm Game Xiaodi.

Since its launch, King's Farm has remained highly popular, with many players sticking to one game a day without fail just to claim match rewards and diligently harvesting their crops. However, many players are also starting to feel fatigued—after all, repeating the same routine for so long inevitably leads to a loss of freshness. But the recent update on the test server is set to bring a wave of new changes to King's Farm. Let's talk about it in this episode. "(Test server content does not represent final values or designs)"

Up to 1050x Multiplier

Let's first talk about the most eye-catching part of this update: the Super Giant mutation. Currently, the official server doesn't have many mutation traits—only 4 color mutations, 6 material mutations, and just 1 size mutation (Giant). So 840x has been considered the ceiling, the absolute upper limit (excluding land and stall bonuses), and even then, many players have yet to obtain even one such mutation.

In this test server update, a new "Super Giant" trait has been added to the size mutation category, with a multiplier of 10x. When combined with previous mutation bonuses, it means players can now grow crops with up to 1050x multipliers—making 840x truly a thing of the past. Additionally, material mutations now include new traits like Starry, Corona, Laser, Fluorescent, and Gold. Color mutations have also expanded with additions like Purple Thorn and Pure White. The Starry and Corona material mutations will also interact with the Day and Night modes—for example, mutations are more likely to become Starry at night and Corona during the day, significantly increasing the variety and playability.

Of course, as mentioned earlier, many players still haven't managed to grow a 840x mutation. This brings us to the previously hinted Cultivation Station. By placing mutated fruits into it, the main material determines the crop output, while supplementary materials increase the chance of rare mutations. Cultivation will always produce at least one mutated fruit. However, the cost is not low—a normal cultivation costs tens of thousands of Farm Coins, and advanced cultivation is even more expensive. The actual effect remains to be seen once it hits the official server.

A New Battle Pass for the Farm?

As everyone knows, King of Glory has a Battle Pass system. Surprisingly, King's Farm will also get its own separate Battle Pass, called the Autumn Harvest Season. It will automatically unlock once the farm reaches level 20. Currently, it does not require any vouchers, but that might change when it launches on the official server. Even if it does require payment, it will likely follow the same model as the main game's Battle Pass—with both free and premium versions, and accordingly differentiated rewards.

On the current test server, leveling up the farm Battle Pass mainly relies on Harvest XP, which is obtained by harvesting crops. Crops with different growth durations yield different amounts of Harvest XP. Additionally, completing tasks also grants XP: harvesting one normal crop, harvesting one seasonal crop, and completing match reward tasks. It's not too grindy—just a bit of effort is enough.

The rewards mainly include season-limited seeds and Time Hourglasses. Seasonal limited crops planted during the current season also grant an extra 50% Harvest XP, but this bonus disappears once the season ends. Currently, three hero crops have been announced: Foxgrass, Wisteria, and Butterfly Orchid. If a hero mutation occurs, they will transform into Da Ji's Foxgrass, Garo's Garo Vine, and Zhuang Zhou's Butterfly Kun respectively—their designs are quite appealing. The economic crops are Kirin Fruit, Fig, and Finger Citron. They function similarly to Magic Seeds, offering higher XP and Farm Coins than normal crops of the same level.

In summary, the Super Giant trait gives players room to aim for new multiplier records, while the Battle Pass provides a daily reason to log in—preventing players from losing the sense of harvest and novelty when plants take too long to grow. So, what level is your farm now? Are you looking forward to this update?
