I didn't expect a version update to contain so much content! World of Tanks Update 1.29 is coming this week, with passes and crates online.
The pass is the seventeenth season, and this pass set a record, that is, the new car of this year, the FV230 Blaster, prepared a livery, which became the fastest legend of the pass livery. The other two cars, namely the M48A5 and WZ111 5A, have a large number of shares but less 3D livery, which can be regarded as satisfying many old players.
These liveries look good, and the collectible value is okay. Especially this time, the WZ111 5A got the actual combat style paint for the first time. WG applied all the modifications commonly used by the Soviet system of the same period: a raised aft compartment was welded behind the oval turret, which made the shape more harmonious. The upper part of the track is made of a conformal structure, so that the appearance of the whole vehicle is quite harmonious.
The M48A5 fully demonstrates the eighteen martial arts of front-line officers and soldiers: the minigan on the roof is the 3D livery element of the T30 of the same series, and the 20mm cannon next to the turret is the classic configuration of the cold combat vehicle. Of course, the cannon root headlights on the whiteboard painting of the big baton were also "strengthened", and a platform was specially built to arrange two devices side by side.
The Exploding not only perfectly presents the British characteristics, but also fully demonstrates the ingenuity of the front-line soldiers. The most striking features of the former are the barrel thermal sheath, which is very common on British high-end cars, and the tea stove mounted on the rear of the turret. A drain bucket was hung on the side of the turret for drinking, and debris such as trailer cables and camouflage nets were hung on the side of the hull.
Other Pass rewards are also more abundant, with the number of Premium White, Red, Orange, and Crew Skill Books remaining the same. It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this season, you can get more than 20 tokens and collect two tanks, the Project 265 T and the ERAC prototype. They are all special vehicles with good performance and are worth considering.
In addition, it is the Dragon Boat Festival supply box that is late but arrives. There is also a new car in the supply box this time, which is the new Bajin Heavy Tank BZ-74-1 in the middle series.
The car's exterior features are closely linked to the gameplay: a huge power compartment and a turret that has been forced to move forward. The former gives it a thrust-to-weight ratio of 15, and a top speed of 50 km/h makes it a high-speed heavy tank. If you add the turbine and function, you can drive more than 56 kilometers. The forward turret gives the BZ-74-1 decent terrain adaptability, which, combined with a nine-degree depression angle, is enough to support it to attack anywhere.
The main gun in the turret is also its essence: the 420 has an ultra-high standard damage that is enough to open a lightning strike against the mid-level tank, and the excellent triple expansion of 0.08\0.15\0.15 allows it to fire rapidly. All in all, the BZ-74-1's main gun feels quite good.
On the other hand, the protection of the BZ-74-1 is not very good: the equivalence of the hull on paper and in practice is not high, and it all depends on the boat-shaped hull to deceive shells. The turret is good at defending against silver coin shells, and there are weak points on both sides of the cannon root, so you need to be careful when you get stuck.
Whether it's a new pass livery or a new supply crate, Update 1.29 is off to a busy start. It's time for another fulfilling June!
