IG2-1 defeats WBG to claim their 9th victory! Gala’s signature Kai'Sa dominates, and theshy’s Gwen fights fiercely like a war god.

In the third stage of LPL, after playing all three games in the BO3, IG triumphed over WBG with a 2-1 score, earning their 9th win!

In game one, WBG’s lineup was Rumble top, Poppy jungle, Taliyah mid, and Jhin with Bard bot; IG had Gwen top, Pantheon jungle, Orianna mid, and Sivir with Seraphine bot. During the laning phase, Tian’s Poppy ganked top, diving to kill theshy’s Gwen, granting WBG the first blood. Then wei’s Pantheon ganked top, killing Breathe’s Rumble, but wei died to tower damage in exchange. Later, Tian’s Poppy returned to kill theshy’s Gwen again. WBG relentlessly targeted theshy’s Gwen, killing him four times in a row, and pushed down the top first tower, securing the Rift Herald. Early on, WBG led by 2k gold.

In mid-game, IG secured the Rift Herald, but WBG responded with a 1-for-5 team wipe against IG. At 27 minutes, WBG caught theshy’s Gwen again in the bot lane, killed meiko’s Seraphine in the jungle, and took the first Baron. Later at 31 minutes, IG killed Liu Qingsong’s Bard in the jungle and secured a dragon soul. However, in team fights, Tian’s Poppy fought like a war god, enabling WBG to wipe IG 3-for-5. At 35 minutes, IG initiated a fight mid; theshy’s Gwen charged in to scatter WBG’s formation. IG then focused down Breathe’s Rumble and secured their second Baron. At 37 minutes, IG took the Elder Dragon soul and chased down two WBG members, completing a comeback and winning the first game. The highest damage dealer in the first game was theshy’s Gwen, while WBG’s top damage came from Xiaohu’s Taliyah.

In game two, WBG picked Aphelios top, Wukong jungle, Galio mid, and Tristana with Neeko bot; IG selected Sion top, Xin Zhao jungle, Annie mid, and Rell with Xayah bot. At 4 minutes, wei’s Xin Zhao ganked bot, killing Liu Qingsong’s Neeko, giving IG the first blood. Then during the Rift Herald fight, Rookie’s Annie made a mistake mid and got heavily damaged. WBG pursued and killed four IG members, pushing down the mid first tower and securing the Rift Herald. Early game gold lead was 3k for WBG.

In mid-game, WBG killed Rookie’s Annie top and tried to force down the second tower. However, wei’s Xin Zhao decisively initiated a fight; after Rookie revived, they trapped WBG and counter-killed three of them, securing the Rift Herald. At 27 minutes, both teams contested the dragon. Breathe’s Aphelios initiated boldly, and Xiaohu’s Galio ult entered the fight. WBG killed four IG members, gaining the Infernal Dragon soul and the first Baron. Finally, at 31 minutes, WBG started a team fight mid, killed four IG members, and won the second game. MVP was awarded to Tian’s Wukong.

In game three, IG’s lineup was Kled top, Naya Feili jungle, Ryze mid, and Kai'Sa with Alistar bot; WBG chose Qiyana top, Skarner jungle, Alora mid, and Lucian with Braum bot. During laning, both sides fought over the dragon. IG secured the dragon and traded 1-for-3. Then theshy’s Kled solo killed Breathe’s Qiyana top. Early on, IG pushed down the top first tower and led by 2k gold.

In mid-game, both teams contested the dragon. Liu Qingsong’s Braum was instantly killed first, and IG easily wiped WBG, securing the dragon soul. IG then took the Rift Herald without loss. At 23 minutes, both teams fought over the dragon again. Meiko’s Alistar initiated, Rookie’s Ryze dealt AoE damage, and IG wiped WBG, securing the Elder Dragon soul. At 25 minutes, IG aggressively took Baron. When WBG arrived, IG initiated and killed four WBG members, then wiped the enemy team at their base, clinching the match victory.
