IG2-0 sweeps BLG, securing second place in the Summit Group! Gala’s damage is explosive, while ELK underperforms.

In the concluding BO3 match of the LPL’s third stage regular season between IG and BLG, after two fierce games, IG triumphed over BLG with a 2-0 score, claiming their 11th victory and securing second place in the Summit Group, while BLG took third.

In the first game, IG’s top was Rumble, jungle Wukong, mid Annie, bot Yummi and Alistar; BLG’s top was Aphelios, jungle Pantheon, mid Taliyah, bot Rakan and Xayah. During the laning phase, IG’s four players chased and killed shadow Pantheon in the jungle, with Wei on Wukong securing first blood. Later, TheShy’s Rumble was also caught and killed top. Early on, IG secured two dragons, BLG took the Rift Herald, and IG held a 1K gold lead.

In the mid game, Wei on Wukong flanked while TheShy’s Rumble ulted five enemies, enabling IG to perfectly engage, kill BLG’s two carries, and secure the dragon for match point. At 19 minutes, TheShy’s Rumble was caught and killed bot; IG’s mid lane tower dive four versus five was countered by BLG, who wiped IG’s team. At 20 minutes, Meiko’s Alistar was caught in the jungle and killed, allowing BLG to take Elder Dragon. At 26 minutes, IG destroyed BLG’s mid tier one tower; BLG immediately engaged, but Bin’s Aphelios was instantly killed, scattering BLG’s formation. IG then killed BLG’s top and jungle, took the first Baron, although BLG responded by killing four IG members. Later at 32 minutes, Wei’s Wukong used Flash to initiate, IG killed BLG’s mid and support, and secured the match victory. The highest damage in the first game was dealt by TheShy’s Rumble, while ELK’s Xayah led BLG’s damage.

In the second game, BLG’s lineup was Sion top, Xin Zhao jungle, Galio mid, and Varus with Seraphine bot; IG played Mordekaiser top, Vi jungle, Orianna mid, and Sivir with Neeko bot. During laning, Wei’s Vi ganked bot, tower dived to kill ELK’s Varus, and Meiko’s Neeko secured first blood. Later, Knight’s Galio tower dived top and solo killed TheShy’s Mordekaiser. Early on, IG took down the bot tier one tower, with both teams’ gold nearly even.

In the mid game, Knight’s Galio solo killed Wei’s Vi top. At 20 minutes, BLG actively contested Elder Dragon; Wei’s Vi flanked, and Rookie’s Orianna ulted four enemies, allowing IG to pull off a miraculous 0-for-5 team wipe against BLG and claim Elder Dragon. At 23 minutes, Gala’s Sivir was instantly killed upon being engaged, and BLG took the dragon for match point. At 28 minutes, both teams fought over the dragon; TheShy’s Mordekaiser ulted Xin Zhao, IG secured the dragon, and Gala cleaned up the fight with a quadra kill. After killing four BLG players, IG took the first Baron. Later at 34 minutes, during another dragon fight, Rookie’s Orianna was killed first, followed by Wei; however, Gala’s Sivir secured the match point dragon. Finally, at 36 minutes, in a chaotic mid lane fight, Gala’s Sivir dealt damage without taking any, scoring another quadra kill as IG sealed the victory.
