In the 2025 Valorant Champions global group stage B group losers' bracket first round, RRQ knocked out BLG 2-1. RRQ is set to battle MIBR in the next round for the last ticket out of Group B.

Map One: Sunset City

Defenders RRQ: Phantom, Dream, Iron Arm, Zero, Shadow

Attackers BLG: Zero, Hawk, Neon, Iron Arm, Shadow

In the first half, BLG won the pistol round. In round 4, BLG rushed B site taking out three RRQ players; RRQ chose not to concede the round directly and saved two rifles, then won the following round. In round 7, both teams clashed with ultimates at B site, RRQ held the bomb site and secured the round. Round 8 saw BLG successfully take A site, disrupting RRQ’s rotation with a push and smoke. Both teams quickly exchanged rounds to end the half tied at 6-6.

In the second half, Levius led with a four-kill to win the pistol round. In round 15, BLG defended A site, with rushia instantly locating and eliminating two opponents. BLG went on a six-round winning streak to reach match point. After RRQ’s timeout, they recovered one round. In round 20, Levius held off RRQ’s attack at B site, teammates rotated back in time, and BLG clinched the round to win map one 13-7.

Map Two: Lotus Ancient City

Defenders RRQ: Night Dew, Rez, Shadow, Dream, Viper

Attackers BLG: Viper, Dream, Shadow, Rez, Wisp

RRQ started the half winning the pistol round. BLG took the bonus round and went on a three-round streak. After a timeout, RRQ adjusted and scored consecutively. In round 10, nephh got a four-kill and planted the spike at C, but the post-plant situation was lost. BLG ended their losing streak by winning round 11 on B site. In round 12, BLG planted at A; rushia’s Viper ultimate spread poison smoke, but nephh’s lurk at the site secured an ACE, narrowing the score gap. Half-time score: BLG 5 - RRQ 7.

BLG won the pistol round in the second half, RRQ took the bonus round. The post-plant was won by smallK, but BLG soon lost an eco round. RRQ then went on a three-round winning streak. In round 19, RRQ broke through A site and unleashed Viper’s poison smoke at the bomb site; BLG’s three-player retake failed. In round 21, Monyet secured an ACE at A site to end the match. RRQ closed out map two with a six-round streak.

Map Three: Deep Abyss

Defenders BLG: Wisp, Hawk, Night Dew, Shadow, Poseidon

Attackers RRQ: Swift Wind, K/O, Hawk, Zero, Shadow

BLG took the pistol round in the first half, RRQ won the bonus round and went on a three-round streak. After BLG’s timeout in round 6, nephh’s Judge secured a triple kill. BLG used two timeouts in the half but only managed 4 rounds. RRQ continuously scored, with two three-round streaks, leading 8-4 at halftime.

RRQ dominated the second half with a five-round winning streak to claim map three victory and advance to the next round.
