S15 Swiss Stage: Quid Alola’s seamless triple kill shines as 100T defeats BLG to secure a strong start

In the opening round of the 2025 LoL World Championship Swiss Stage, 100T defeated BLG, moving to a 1-0 record in the Swiss group.

BLG’s lineup: Rek'Sai, Jarvan IV, Taliyah, Caitlyn, Elise

100T’s lineup: Sion, Xin Zhao, Alola, Ziggs, Rell

During the first six minutes near the bottom river, BLG’s formation mistake allowed 100T to secure a 1-for-2 exchange, while Bin’s Rek'Sai was harshly solo killed on the top lane. 100T took the first Rift Scuttler, and BLG secured the first dragon in the bottom lane, with both teams mirroring each other’s jungle resource control early on.

Although BLG lost the early skirmish, they gained lane advantages through strategic play, rushing down the Rift Herald and taking 100T’s mid outer turret by 17 minutes. BLG’s mid-game macro play began to pick up momentum. At 22 minutes during the dragon fight, BLG not only lost the dragon but also saw Quid Alola secure a triple kill. 100T then took Baron Nashor and retreated, while BLG’s attempts to catch them resulted in consecutive deaths, like a “seven brothers saving their grandfather” scenario.

With their lead, 100T secured Baron and killed multiple enemies, snowballing to destroy all of BLG’s outer turrets. At 30 minutes, 100T eliminated four BLG members in the jungle, leaving only Knight alive, who was then taken down by 100T’s Sion. 100T wiped BLG and pushed mid lane to claim a decisive victory.
