BLG lost to 100T, causing an uproar on their official social media! Before the match, Bin boldly claimed: this year is BLG's best chance to win the championship.

BLG was defeated 0-1 by 100T in their first Swiss round match at S15 Worlds, creating a major upset. Given the high hopes placed on BLG and 100T not being a conventional powerhouse, many fans found this outcome unacceptable, sparking a backlash on BLG’s official social media.

Below BLG’s official post, many fans expressed their frustration: we thought the win would be effortless, but it ended in a complete collapse! The loss was disgraceful, even worse than last year. How many more limits must they break? No wonder so many are criticizing them! Some fans also blamed Knight and Bin: one disappears in big matches, the other likes to show off!

LPL official commentators Yufan, Wang Duoduo, and Rita also discussed the reasons behind BLG’s loss. They pointed out that BLG made several mistakes in aggression, decision-making, and teamwork, becoming increasingly desperate as the game went on, resulting in a strange performance. Although 100T didn’t play very strictly and gave many chances, BLG’s draft was actually well-suited for them. The problem was their in-game execution. BLG’s previous Swiss stage performance was also underwhelming, showing slow adaptation—an old issue for them. Hopefully, they can adjust quickly.

Notably, in a pre-match interview, BLG’s top laner Bin confidently declared: he fears no Korean team, feels confident against any opponent, and believes other teams should be the ones worried about BLG!

He also said his confidence has grown a lot this year and that this is the best time for BLG to claim the championship. However, after the surprising loss in the debut match and Bin’s careless mistake with the excavator, along with poor top lane play that led to him being solo killed, it seems BLG is still the same team—always boasting before matches but never delivering on their promises.

Confidence is good, but it must be paired with humility and an honest assessment of one’s abilities. Only by staying humble and taking every opponent seriously, treating each match like a final, can the team perform at their best. Regardless, there are still opportunities ahead. Hopefully, BLG can quickly regain form and show improvement in upcoming games; otherwise, this year risks becoming another season full of ridicule.
