The first legendary player in LPL is born! A record-breaking 0-22 performance, IG nearly lost, and Rookie also made his mark.

Greetings to all LPL fans and League of Legends summoners, welcome to Tianxia Gaming Hub.

Yesterday, the LPL hosted a fierce battle among elite players, with the two teams considered relatively weak — IG and TES — facing off. After three hard-fought games, IG came out on top.

During this chaotic clash of prodigies, the top-ranked LPL player so far emerged — TES support Fengyue.

The first legendary player in LPL has appeared, breaking the record with a 0-22 scoreline.

Since the start of this LPL season, many “legendary” level players have appeared, including MSI triple champion veteran Xiaohu, whose performances have been extraordinary. The match between IG and TES elevated this prodigy battle to a whole new level, showcasing a collection of wild plays from various top-tier talents.

Setting aside the relatively one-sided third game where IG dominated, the first two games were the highlights of this BO3. IG nearly lost this series, but thanks to jungler WEI’s consistent performance across all three games, IG secured this crucial victory.

Among all the prodigy players, TES support Fengyue stood out the most, recording two disastrous games with 0-8 deaths and a third game with two fewer deaths, finishing with a 0-22 score, breaking the LPL support death record this year.

Audiences described this support’s performance as not only unworthy of an LPL player but almost inhuman. His individual skill clearly doesn’t match the peak group’s level, with many moves seeming thoughtless, giving the impression of a Bronze player mistakenly placed in a Challenger match.

IG nearly lost, Rookie’s LeBlanc also made an impact.

A quick recap of yesterday’s match: In the first game, Fengyue picked Poppy but missed many ultimate abilities, dying frequently in teamfights. The mid lane initiated a kill on the enemy but contributed almost nothing to the team. Teammates 369 was killed in a counterattack on the top lane, the jungle was left isolated and killed, and Crème’s Ezreal E skill missed the Q combo.

However, IG’s play was even more absurd in this game. Despite TES’s many mistakes, IG gained a huge advantage. Yet Photic’s 5-0 Rell had less economy than Jiaqi’s Graves. A solo fight between Rell and Graves in the bot lane lost, causing the teamfight to fail. While IG was pushing after taking Baron, a three-versus-five flash attempt to clean up ended in a sudden death.

IG’s decision-making was chaotic, resulting in Jiaqi’s Graves turning the tide with a pentakill and leading to IG’s defeat.

In the second game, Photic’s early aggression was countered by a Jhin ultimate combined with a taunt, killing him instantly. Fengyue picked support Tahm Kench but continued to die excessively. In a bot lane skirmish, he was caught out first and killed. Later, in a mid lane teamfight, with teammates unable to follow, Fengyue’s R+Q engage resulted in giving away his own kill.

Rookie’s LeBlanc also had a rough time this game. After the team gained an advantage and secured Baron, he was killed while trying to damage the enemy troll in the jungle. Later, during a flank, he was taken down by a flash W from Renekton combined with teammate damage, performing extremely poorly.

Fengyue has reached a critical failure point; LPL standards have seriously declined.

The second game saw three major momentum shifts. IG first secured the Rift Herald and Dragon Soul, but due to a lost teamfight from mistakes, TES claimed the double dragon buff. TES pushed twice to the inhibitor but failed to break it. In the final Elder Dragon contest, WEI successfully secured the smite and led his team to win the decisive teamfight, evening the series.

In the final deciding game, Fengyue picked support Niko but again was disconnected and died after initiating fights. Photic once more performed poorly and was killed. WEI became the most active player, choosing Nocturne and relentlessly ganking all three lanes, helping his team build an advantage and ultimately clinch the victory.

To sum up this prodigy battle, nine out of the ten players likely had issues, but Fengyue was definitely the biggest problem, consistently feeding every game. WEI was relatively stable, earning MVP honors. On the losing side, SVP was Jiaqi. Despite some mistakes with Jhin’s long-range ultimate, playing alongside a support like Fengyue and still performing this well is quite impressive.

In my opinion, after this match, support Fengyue should be considered beyond saving. This support, promoted from TES’s second team, reportedly performed well in LDL, but his LPL performance gives the impression that any other player would outperform him. Fans of JKL are clearly not keen on the idea of JKL returning to the stage and partnering with this support someday.
