Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Report.
The BLG team, highly expected in the LPL Peak Group, has been facing turmoil both on and off the field lately. Before yesterday’s match began, a rumor appeared on a forum, and afterward, BLG lost again to JDG, suffering a double kill from the adversary.

This means BLG will face a double threat and crisis in terms of both public opinion and results.
The official team takes strong action to punish the rumor makers.
Regarding the rumor incident, simply put, a forum user claiming to be an insider posted a leak based on Daeny’s post-match interview after losing to JDG, stating that the player affecting BLG’s BP (ban/pick) was Knight. The coach wanted him to pick certain champions, but he refused, which led Daeny to mention disagreements between the coach and players during BP.

BLG’s official account saw this and immediately took strong action, issuing a statement denying the rumors about internal BP issues circulating online, and said they had contacted the poster to gather evidence and would handle the situation accordingly.
Shortly after this announcement, the poster apologized directly, admitting that their leak had no factual basis, caused trouble for the club and related personnel, and deleted the related content.

Many uninformed viewers thought BLG was overreacting, but in fact, besides the post content, the poster’s replies to other users were quite explosive, insisting that they risked being arrested just to say Knight was the one meddling with BP, and criticizing Knight for saying “anything is fine” when picking champions but then choosing according to his own ideas during the actual selection.
A fierce back-and-forth in the Peak Group, Knight gets suppressed.
The off-field rumor incident ended with the rumor maker’s apology, but on the field, BLG faced JDG again and lost 2-1. In the double round-robin format of the Peak Group, being swept by the opponent twice is harsh. If the first loss could be blamed on underestimating the opponent, the second defeat is harder to justify.

Editor’s note.
In the first game, BLG picked Azir again but lost despite having a 7,000 gold lead. The Azir curse remains unbroken. The huge advantage was squandered when the jungle and support led an invasion into the enemy jungle and got caught, resulting in losing the Baron. Subsequent team fights were dominated by Rumble and Aurelion Sol.
In the second game, the top lane was targeted and collapsed quickly. Bin called on teammates to fight but failed, and the team further crumbled under pressure.
However, in this game, despite being 8,000 gold behind and a kill score of 5-17, BLG managed a comeback by capitalizing on JDG’s pushing mistakes. They fought Baron with better coordination, secured it smoothly, won the jungle team fight with a strong initiation, then took the Ocean Drake and pushed decisively to end the match.

Editor’s note.
In the final deciding game, BLG made numerous mistakes. Knight was unusually suppressed in his lane, and Xun didn’t assist him but instead ganked top lane. Later, Knight forced an initiation in the jungle and killed Bard, giving BLG a slight kill advantage.
BLG faces crisis as Viper completely disappears from the scene.
BLG’s first two offensive moves didn’t yield significant economic gains. They succeeded in a tower dive afterward but never managed to extend their gold lead. Then BLG started making errors. In a crucial Dragon team fight, Xun’s mysterious initiation with Malphite ended in his death. Vampire’s Bard ultimate saved GALA for the first time, allowing JDG to win the team fight.

Editor’s note.
Later, in another Dragon fight, On successfully landed a Q on GALA, but Vampire’s Bard ultimate again saved GALA. Viper forced to follow the damage dealers but positioned poorly and died immediately. After this fight, BLG’s momentum collapsed, and JDG easily pushed to the base and won the game.
To summarize BLG’s current performance, I personally believe the main crisis the team faces lies in the players’ individual skill or form, especially Viper. Throughout the long season, he has not had any particularly standout games and seems almost invisible, as if he has gone into stealth mode.

Mid laner Knight performs well in matches outside of JDG, but struggles specifically against HongQ, proving that Knight is not at his peak form right now. Bin’s performance is also inconsistent.
Daeny once said in an interview that BLG has problems, but what the coach can fix is limited; the players themselves must work hard to improve their individual skills.
