LCK experiences a major turnaround, with Doran crowned the solo kill king! Zeus’s stats are dismal, ranking dead last.

Hello to all LPL viewers and League of Legends summoners, this is Tianxia Game Hub.

Unlike the LPL schedule, the first split of the LCK has already eliminated one team, HLE. The group stage has concluded, and the competition is soon moving into the second phase.

Recently, the first split data of the LCK was made public, and the solo kill numbers drew significant attention.

LCK’s big reversal: Doran emerges as the solo kill king.

This year in the LCK, both team performances and statistics have been quite surprising. The biggest shock is HLE’s early exit. After forming the team last year, HLE’s goal was definitely to win the championship. They were the champions of the first split last year and also secured the title at the Pioneers tournament.

However, this year HLE performed terribly, finishing fifth in their group and getting eliminated. It’s likely that nobody in HLE expected this. As the leader of the Ancient Dragon group, they even had to worry about their ranking, and their final match against GEN turned into a do-or-die battle.

Meanwhile, top laner Zeus’s poor performance drew heavy criticism from fans. Last year at this time, Zeus and Doran had completely opposite reputations. Everyone believed Doran had no chance against Zeus, but this year brought a huge turnaround, with many fans jokingly wondering if Zeus and Doran had swapped bodies.

In the player solo kill rankings, Doran leads all players with 8 solo kills, claiming the title of solo kill king for the group stage, while Zeus ranks last among all top laners in solo kills, which is equally surprising.

Zeus’s skills have declined sharply, and his morale seems broken.

Looking at the data reveals many interesting points. Besides the contrast between Doran and Zeus, other players are worth noting. For example, Rich, the former LPL star known as the GOAT of Heroes of the Storm, managed six solo kills and still holds a solid position in the LCK, which is quite impressive.

Although he hasn’t achieved great results, for a player transitioning from another game, this is already commendable.

In the mid lane, the top spot goes to ShowMaker, while Faker and BDD are tied for second with five solo kills each. Ruler is one of the few bottom laners to appear near the top of the list. Overall, the top lane remains the position where solo kills occur most frequently.

Zeus only managed a pitiful single solo kill. Considering he’s known for lane dominance and mechanical skill, this performance makes fans wonder if Zeus has lost motivation, feeling the team has little hope and has started to give up.

From the actual match performances, Zeus has indeed been quite mediocre, with no standout moments so far, and his level no longer reaches the top tier.

HLE faces a major crisis, losing their core strength.

Doran has now reached the true peak of his career. After T1 changed their bottom lane, their strength compared to last year may have even improved. With T1’s system and the strong momentum from the World Championship, they still have a good chance to go for their seventh title.

In contrast, HLE is facing a huge crisis. I believe HLE is losing their fundamental strength, which used to rest on bottom laner Viper and the addition of top laner Zeus.

Now, Viper has been replaced by Gumayusi, and Zeus’s performance has dropped significantly. HLE no longer has a stable carry point within the team. Under these circumstances, it will be difficult for HLE to achieve good results, and if results falter, they will face another round of restructuring and transfers.

Players are also under significant pressure, especially Kanavi and Gumayusi. After returning to the LPL, Kanavi needs to secure his position as a starter and adapt to the LCK environment. If he performs poorly and is rejected by the LCK, he might end up playing for weaker teams.

Gumayusi faces the greatest public pressure. Leaving T1 without proving himself could cause his historical reputation to decline continuously.
