Introduction: The S16 season competition has officially begun. It is believed that most players have been following the recent offseason. Both LPL teams have arrived in Brazil, and the intense Global Pioneer Tournament is about to start. This tournament is still highly anticipated. Although the LCK participating team is Gen, we still have a chance to challenge them. Regarding the closely watched BLG team players, they have already started training on the Brazil server. Their player IDs are quite interesting: Knight directly brought his old friend Gao Tianliang along, while Bin used his real name Chen Zebin. In comparison, JDG team player Gala is more conventional, using the team name plus his player ID.

It is believed that most players are quite focused on this Global Pioneer Tournament. As a new world event officially hosted by Riot in recent years, the intensity of the Global Pioneer Tournament is gradually increasing. This time, both the LPL and LCK regions have two teams participating: BLG, JDG, Gen, and BFX. Additionally, the champion team will directly qualify for the MSI competition, which greatly enhances the rewards of this event. As the tournament approaches, players from the two major LPL teams have successively arrived in Brazil. After a brief adjustment, the starting players have begun training on the Brazil server.

The Brazil server accounts of various players are gradually being revealed. First is BLG’s mid-laner Knight. His Brazil server ID is the pinyin “gaotianliang,” which translates to the full name of jungler Tian, Gao Tianliang. It shows that their relationship is really good; otherwise, he wouldn’t use such an ID. His match records are also very impressive, basically achieving MVP-level performance in every game. After all, a world-class mid-laner possesses complete dominance in mid-to-low tier matches on the Brazil server. The heroes he uses are also conventional mages, without many novel breakthroughs, so new tactics likely won’t be exposed during training.

Next is top-laner Bin. He directly used the pinyin of his full name, “chenzebin.” Indeed, this fits his personality, but his training state might not be particularly stable. He even got completely crushed in a Diamond ranked game on the Brazil server, using top-lane Graves against Malphite and ending with a 1-10 score, ranking last in the game. Using top-lane Jayce against Warwick, he also scored 1-8, again ranking last. Honestly, his ranked performance here is somewhat amusing; probably he was just playing casually. After all, a top-tier pro player in Diamond rank is like a booster—even if teammates collapse, he should be able to carry.

In comparison, JDG player Gala is more conventional. His account name is simply the team name plus his ID. He has already played three ranked games, using Ezreal, Corki, and Yone, all with quite impressive records. Overall, the players have started training, as the Pioneer Tournament schedule is very tight—it starts in just over a day. Gen’s strength is unquestionable. For the two LPL teams, reaching the final would already be a victory. If they can defeat Gen and win the championship, that would absolutely exceed expectations.

Bin is as amusing as ever, probably playing abstract moves again in ranked, otherwise he wouldn’t have ended up 1-10. Even in Diamond rank on the domestic server, such a top-tier pro should be god-like, let alone on servers like Brazil. Hopefully they can adjust their state well these two days. Of course, fans should also offer sufficient tolerance, since winning the championship truly isn’t easy.
