VCT: Derke gets an ACE to seal the match, VIT 2-0 sweeps DRG

In the first round of the Swiss stage at the Valorant Masters London, VIT defeated DRG 2-0, advancing to the 1-0 group.

Map 1: Lotus

Defending side VIT: Viper, Breach, Raze, Sage, Omen

Attacking side DRG: Killjoy, Chamber, Yoru, Skye, Omen

Early in the first half, Derke and Sayonara were on fire, with the "Little Bees" taking four consecutive rounds. In the fourth round, Sayonara rotated for retakes and gradually dismantled the opposition to get an ACE.

After a timeout adjustment, in the fifth round, Yoru missed shots at C site, but Life then held with the Operator for a triple kill, earning DRG their first round.

In the sixth round, Yoru charged ahead, getting a triple kill at A site to hold off the "Little Bees" retake, then Nicc handled the clutch cleanly to win the round.

DRG took three consecutive rounds, but in the eighth round, Sayonara won four one-on-one duels to take it back.

In the first half, the "Little Bees" consistently controlled map space and gave DRG few attacking opportunities. The "Little Bees" scored 8 rounds in the first half, while DRG only managed 4.

Entering the second half, the "Little Bees" won the pistol round again. In the 15th round, Jamppi ran circles around pillars at C site to get an ACE.

In the second half, DRG only managed to take one round (the 16th). The "Little Bees" attacked relentlessly, and finally in the 18th round, they won the gunfight at A Long to secure a dominant victory on Map 1.

Map 2: Breeze

Attacking side VIT: Sova, KAY/O, Jett, Viper, Harbor
The "Little Bees" started with nine consecutive wins, completely overwhelming DRG on attack. DRG used both timeouts in the first half but still couldn't stop the "Little Bees" advance.

In the 10th round, the "Little Bees" targeted DRG's weak defense at B site, but Yoru held firm on the spike point, leading his team to their first round win.

In the 11th round, Life made a big play at A site with the Operator, and DRG executed a perfect team wipe.

DRG gradually found their rhythm and won the last three rounds. At halftime, DRG trailed 3-9 against VIT.

In the second half pistol round, Sayonara got a triple kill to lead his team to victory. In the match point round, Derke delivered an ACE to close out the game. VIT won four straight rounds in the second half to take the match decisively.
